You may come across several hurdles on your woodworking journey which are hard to overcome. We want to do our best to help you on your way to become the best woodworker you can be, whether that be as a profession or a hobby, we are here to help!

We want you to help shape the content we publish, and to ensure it’s relevant for you, we’re asking what you’d like to see. Let us know what you want us to cover, it might be an already existing guide you want more detail on, a technique we haven’t covered, or anything in between! To make sure it is useful to others, we ask that you refrain from asking questions specific to your own projects.

We’d appreciate it if you could fill in the survey below and let us know.

  1. Hello Paul and your team,
I think the existing threads are sufficient for a beginner. The greatest difficulty is to implement what has been learned and to achieve consistency in the use of the tools. I think only a lot of practice including many setbacks helps, I mean that you take something positive from a failed project. I sawed off countless bad dovetails and carried on with a shorter board, but I’m getting better!
Thank you for all the free content that is very useful for us beginners!
    Best wishes

  2. Hello to Paul a great his team. Thank you for the huge amount of information you have put out. It has inspired me and perhaps more importantly it calms my inner self, particularly important under the present circumstances. So far I have only managed two three legged stools fo granddaughters but having just bought a Record 52 1/2 vice I am now committed to building a workbench using recycled wood.

Please stay safe and keep up the good work (by that I mean the whole team)
