Remove the table top to apply finish. Paul uses Danish Oil to finish his table but you can use beeswax, however this is not very durable. You can apply with a brush or rag (be careful when disposing of the rag, see Pauls blog for more information). Paul doesn’t just apply finish to the area that will be seen, he does the whole project. This is because it slows down the absorption of moisture through the wood. Wait for the specified time between coats (the manufacturer will state this on the product). Paul applies 3 coats and wipes off any excess with a lint free cloth between coats. Once dry you can reattach the table top and your table is finished.
