Hi
I recently purchased an old wood low angle spokeshave on Ebay. The blade and the sole both have a small convex radius. Is this normal for an old spokeshave or is this a specialized tool? Can it still be used for smoothing curves on table aprons which is the main reason I bought it? I kind of think it would because the curve would only be slightly hollow. This bigger problem would be sharpening it.
