    Hi,

    Love the idea of this website, and I appreciate everything you guys do. I have begun bidding for tools on eBay to start my first ever project – the spatula. Just having a look over the course content, and to prepare the wood Paul uses a vice to hold the wood in place. Is a vice necessary?

    It would make it a whole lot easier to make the spatula if you had a vice. You could clamp it to a leg of a table/bench if you did nto have one.
