I’ve recently started my first project, a coffee table made from oak. The legs are basically a box frame joined with three way lap joints which I found on the internet. The table top was edge jointed and glued together using sash clamps, after the glue up the table top is slightly bowed upwards in the middle meaning that it does not sit flush to the leg frame leaving a gap in the middle. Have you any suggestions on what I should do? Should I take them apart and glue it together again making sure the joints are straighter or is there another work around?

Ideally I would upload a picture, but I’m not sure there is a function to here?
