I just wanted to let you know that I had a lovely visit to the UK a few weeks ago and although opportunities were limited, I did manage to bring home a lovely Sorby paring chisel and a wooden skewed rabbit plane with a depth stop and adjustable fence. The plane needs a new nicker and nicker wedge but is otherwise complete and functions beautifully after minor tuning. I can’t help but be jealous of folks living in the UK with better access to traditional tools than what we generally have in my area of the U.S. Many thanks to those of you helped me out.
